RAPID CITY, SD – Homeslice Media Group’s KKLS-AM 920/104.7 K284BA in Rapid City, has flipped the former News/Talk station to Classic Country “The Cowboy“.
Kevin Phillips moves from mornings at Hot AC “93.9 The Mix” KKMK-FM to the same slot at KKLS. Phillips had been on-air at KKMK since 1989 and also serves as Program Director. The new format creates a flanker to co-owned Country “Kat 98.7” KOUT-FM and Farm/Country “Big 810” KBHB-AM while competing against Bad Lands Broadcasting’s “True Country 99.5/107.9” KRKI/KXZT.
