HomeSlice Buys 2 AMs in Rapid City Area

homeRAPID CITY, SD — HomeSlice Media Group, LLC has announced it will purchase of KKLS-AM and KBHB-AM from Rushmore Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of Schurz Communications, Inc for $650,000.

Schurz needs to divest two stations in order to come into Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ownership compliance, following their recent acquisition of KOTA-TV and other television assets of Duhamel Broadcasting. The deal also includes FM Translator K284BA on 97.5 FM which creates the “97.5 – The Hills” brand for KKLS.

HomeSlice Corporation of Sturgis, owns and operates various Black Hills-area businesses for twenty years. The sale, which is pending FCC approval, is expected to close sometime this summer.
