Synergy Sells Off North Dakota FM Outlets

SYNERGY NORTH DAKOTABISMARCK, ND — Todd Mohr’s Synergy Broadcast North Dakota, is selling off its collection of silent FM properties in the western region of the State.

Upper midwest radio firm Marks Broadcast Group, (also known as Dickinson-Belfield Broadcasting Corpration) who owns Country formatted KXDI-93.9 FM Belfield/Dickinson, ND, has agreed to purchase KQLZ-FM 95.7 in New England North Dakota.

DSN Radio LLC, who owns regional Bismarck area Sports outlet KDKT-AM 1410, has agreed to purchase KLTQ-FM 97.9, and will co-locate the signal on it’s tower in KLTQ’s city of License of Beulah, ND.

This would be Synergy’s exit from North Dakota, so it can concentrate on its remaining broadcast properties in Michigan. KQLZ would add to Marks’ group of radio outlets in North Dakota, such as KDSR-FM 101.1, and recently purchased KXWI-FM 98.5 in Williston. DSN has begun to simulcast “KDKT SportsRadio” format on KLTQ via an LMA, creating an AM/FM sports combo.
