KQWB Brings Classic Country to Fargo

FARGO, ND — Jim Ingstad’s Radio FM Media outlet KQWB-AM has dropped its Oldies format in favor of Classic Country with the new “Willie 1660” moniker in the Fargo market.

The station had been carrying the syndicated True Oldies Channel since 2012, however with the announced demise of the network, KQWB decided to flip to an upper demo Country format.

The format switch will also end shared programming with sister station KZDR-FM through a JSA with Mediactive, LLC.
