PIERRE, SD — Jay Huizenga, Vice President and General Manager of KELO-TV in Sioux Falls, SD and KCLO-TV in Rapid City, SD, has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the South Dakota Broadcasters Association (SDBA).
The SDBA represents all of the State’s TV and Radio stations. Huizenga has been with KELO since 1980 and has served in his current position since 2008. He will fill the unexpired term of Mari Ossenfort, formerly of KDLT-TV, who moved to Fargo. Huizenga has been actively representing KELO, the Sioux Falls area, and the Association in telecommunication matters with the Federal Communications Commission and with SD’s Congressional delegation the past several years.
The South Dakota Broadcasters Association is a trade association that represents South Dakota’s radio and television stations. It provides education, regulatory assistance, and legislative representation to its members.
